Review about the Movie "TAMASHA"

Movie Review
TAMASHA

Image result for movie tamasha
When I was watching movie “Tamasha”, what I found is, the plot structure of the movie is well, and we found that the narrator of the story is the character of the story (intra narrative technique). I think that movie and literature both are same, movie is a kind of literature. Movie and Literature both are tells the story and reflect the society and culture.
In the very beginning of the movie there is a little boy who is very curious for listen different stories. Every day he visits one Old man offers him some money and Old man tells the story to boy. One day Old man mixed two stores, English story and Indian story. At that time boy tell him that this is another story. What is the reply of the Old man is very interesting, that ‘stories are stories’. Stories are remain same everywhere. As same we found in literature that the stories are same but name, place, character and culture are different. For example, the story of Hester and Meera, American have story Hester and we Indian have story of Meerabai. Story of Hester Meera, Kunti, Sita and other are some different, but what they teach us is same things. So, what old man says is true, that stories are same. Another thing is Old man says is “Apni kahani khud bnao, muje kya puch rahe ho apni khani” indirectly it suggests that live your life the way you want to live, don’t ask any one.
Other thing I found in this movie is about human psychology and social effects. Here in movie there is dual face of man. The hero of movie also has dual face one is what he is in real and another is what society make him. In original Dev (a hero of movie) is very notorious and free from all kind of bounties of society. Another one is totally different from original one well-behaved, cultured and with manners. In the ending part of the movie, there is one girl name Tara who is heroin of the movie. She told Dev that ‘you are not who you are, you are different from this Dev.’
It shows how person leave their original personality. How the drama of goodness become real personality of person. A person wear mask of cultured and well behavior, slowly it becomes real face of person and real personality of person is hide behind this mask. We can say that conditioning of mind. In short a person cannot live life as she/he wants to live but someone introduce them their real personality. As in movie when Tara introduce Dev to his original personality, she gives one spark that you are something eels. Be whatever you are.
Here some other symbols are found like, ‘Boss’, ‘tie’ and many other things. Boss is symbol of power. In our life power plays very vital role in human life. Person or employer must follow the rules of Boss and also society, and do what is wish of Boss. Tie is kind of boundary or binary and chain for workers, which is control by Boss. Say for example we have belt for dogs on their neck, through which we control dog. Why we do all this things? In movie there is one interesting monolog of Dev is ‘Yeh Paisa na hota to Kaisa hota?’ why people stated behaving like ‘Robots’, because of money. We found in busy daily life man becomes Robot. In the movie words like ‘ordinary, mediator, smile pulse, walk, stop, average this all words shows how person live their life.
‘Apni race khud chuno fir dekho, tum asani se jitoge.’  At the end of the movie Tara gets one chit that “DON IS RETURNS” it suggests that original Dev is returns. Here we can say that how one person (spark) changes your life. At the end he says that I am born as DON but society makes me genital and cultured man.
At conclusion I want to says that it is very good movie. In the beginning of the movie we found that there are two characters one is joker and another is robot. It suggests that what the story of the movie is. And the title itself suggests that how society makes ‘TAMASHA’ of one’s life. Rather we can says our life is kind of ‘Tamasha’.

The Mill on the Floss

                              -   By George Eliot (By George Eliot1860)

In this novel we found Victorian effects. Also we can says that autobiographical element of the writer, it means writer express herself through novel. The novel is all around two major character names Maggi and Tom Tulliverboth are brother and sister. The story begins when both are children; both are liv with their family. Mr. Tulliver is the father of Maggi and Tom and owner of the mill. Mrs. Bessy Tulliver is their mother.  We found deep relation and understanding between Tom and Maggi. Maggi love her brother so much. There is a ‘floor mill’ on the bank of river ‘Floss’. Maggi as child she need love but some time we found her mother become angry on her because of this reason she sometime don’t like her mother and aunty (mother’s sister). Aunty always told her that you are manner less girl you haven’t sense of clothing and do this and that, don’t do this, that’s why she become angry. When she was in anger she went to one room in her house, it is her room and in the room there is one doll. She used to beat doll, she behave very badly and rudely with doll. She becomes very cruel withdoll. Her Behavior with doll is because of her supers desire, she can’t raise her voice against her mother and alder one. It is psychology of human nature, that one wants to full fill their desire and suppression is come out very forcefully in any other form. Hear in form of anger her suppression comes out, that’s why she don’t play with doll but she beat it.
When she is child she loved her brother and she says that she marry with her brother because she don’t want to leave her brother. She says that he is my brother only. When she becomes mature girl and her attraction toward Philip and she go agents of Tom and Mr. Tulliver. The end of the novel is something different.

What is spirit

Who?
Where?
There is positive spirit which helps us and give energy, inspiration and daring for completed our good work. A person needssomething that in which he or she puts their faith, and get inspiration is god. In short god is spirit (according to me); we call this positive spirit as god. According to Hindu god (there are so many god in Hindu religion) is Ram, Krishna, Shiva and many other god. According to Muslim god is Allah. There is Jesus as god of Christian religion. After all this I have this question ‘who is god?’ I gate answer s above and another one is god is who work something different from the common people. They do some spiritual things like they fight with bad things. For example Lord Rama fight with Rakshasa called Ravan, that why he become god, and look other god the also do this type of work in their life so they become god.
In short a person needs someone or something in which they put their faith on in and get inspiration from it. If person get some positive energy from anything it become god for her or his. I think god is beautiful thing, though and positive spirit which helps people for come out from fear and do something different.
Other question is where is god? Some says that god is within us. So what is the need of go to temple. Why we create huge temple of god, is god live in temple? If god is within us so why we go to temple? Because there is some positive energy found in place. Some place gives peace and pleasure. I am believer of god but not in formed god (Murti pooja). God is everywhere in world, not only in temple.

what I think about Ramayana

Feministic Reading of “Ramayana”

Everybody knows that “Ramayana” is connected with religion. Here I talk about serials based on Ramayana. I try to read it with the help of feministic perspective. In the Ramayana many women are suppressed, for example, Sita, Urmila and other women. Sita was very happy girl when she lives in her father’s house. She enjoys her life, after her marriage with Lord Rama, who is not normal man. We found that her life is totally ruined. After her marriage she went to “vanvasa” with her husband Ram, she can’t enjoy her life. During vanvas she faces lots of problem. After coming from vanvasa she gives “Agnipariksha” to prove herself. Then she comes to Ayodhya, what happened in Ayodhya there is a “Rama Rajya and PrajaSukhi” but what bought Sita. Once again she forced to go to forest. Every one of RamaRajya is happy but wife of King Rama is not happy. In all Ramayana what is the mistake of Sita. Do you think there is little mistake of Sita. I know Sita do one mistake in her life, is her marriage with Lord Rama. It’s her biggest mistake of her life.

Another one is Urmila,Luxman’s wife. During vanvas Luxmana told his wife that don’t cry, and don’t west your single drop of tear, and take care of all family members. Sita is lucky because she was in vanvas with her husband, but Urmila live without her husband. What was her felt? Think a bough pain of Urmila. She lives 14 year without her husband and she can’t flows single drop of tears. Nobody remember her, no one think a bough her existent in Ramayana.

“Chel Chabilo Gujarati”

Review of the Gujarati Drama
This is very good Gujarati play. This play is very funny but also shows harsh reality and dark said of the Indian society. Here is three or four seen which make this play interesting, also heart touching. In this play there is a seen; one saint visited one Gujarati man. There is a character name Upendra Rana, he is very funny positive and free minded person. Saint wants to change this person; he says that Upendra is bad person, because Upendra think beyond the boundary of religion and society. But at the end of the play Upendra win.
In one seen Upendra teach game of chess to a girl, she is follower of saint. Her name is Gita. He says to her that the horse always walks two and half step and elephant walk two steps. At that time she asked one question, why all this walks only on that way? Why they don’t change their steps. In the answer of her question he says that, if horse wish to walk two and half or not, but he must to walk in this way only same for all. In the society we also found that if man wish to do or not to do but they must or fours to do it. He also says that “Man (wish) ne mari ne nahi jivvanu” through this he give biggest lesson of life.
Then in other seen he says that if god gives us this beautiful world, testy and delicious food for eating, god also gives variety of cloths and many other things for entertainment. He says that avoiding all this things we do insult of god, it’s kind of insulting god. Because god itself give eyes for see all things and give tank for eating this delicious food. So if you avoid this entire thing god become angry on you. God gives tank, so he provides food also. So don’t go to ‘satvika bhojan’.
Third one is the last speech of saint Atmaram bapu. In his speech he clarified what the actual situation is of saint? Why they become saint, because no one is saint from the birth. But the world or the society makes them saint. Here saint is not great one but he is normal ‘kathakar’. Society makes him great saint from common man. Saint wants to live common life. He wants to cry, lough loudly but he can’t do because he is saint. He force fully lives “sayamit jivan” and “satvikta bhojan”. He wishes to free from the sainthood. Here is one beautiful ide, that now a day’s people having “family guru”, it becomes craze among the people as same having ‘family doctor’.
In this drama we also found feminism, suppuration of the girl who comes with saint Gita. And also the speech of Usha devi, first she is also follower of saint but at last she realized that what is the reality of saint. In her speech she gives good argument regarding the question which rose on female by all Indian saints, what they think a bough woman. She says that, saint always gives advice to live ‘sauyamit jivan’ and ‘stay away from women’ they also says that women are the ‘gate of hell (naraka)’ and the people blindly followed saint. People don’t think that through woman they come in to the world without woman they can’t see the world, in other word women are gate but not of hell but gate through which they come in to the world.
This is the very brief over view of the play ‘Chel Chabilo Gujarati’ according to me. In short this play is very comic but also shows the harsh reality of the Indian society. Also shows Gujarati person won the fight from rude saint.
